We had to rain in our enthusiasm for the weather
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Wandsworth.
- Saturday, 6th of October 2018
Two runners ran 3.5km through a wet and wild Wandsworth on Saturday afternoon to help Mr and Mrs M with some front garden upkeep. The weather was against us but we pulled through and navigated the puddles on our out-bound run.
We weeded the flower bed and dead-headed the roses as the rain came down so that Mr and Mrs M can continue to enjoy their lovely front garden.
Goes without saying that we didn't have to use the watering can Mr M had kindly provided.
Finally, we headed back home to get changed into some dry clothes and have a nice, warm cup of hot chocolate :)
