Last night great big Chiswick litter pick started off with a bit of a bump as we discovered that the bin bags I had bought for the job were less than great big and more teeny tiny. Still that didn't hold us back, and after a warm up and a run down of the Big Half (well done to all that did it!) we set off for the first location.
We didn't have far to go as we were kicking off our plastic and trash pick just across the road in Turnham Green, so after dividing up into two teams we got stuck in. Kudos goes to Michelle who managed to find a shiny new football, doing her best Jamie Vardy impression with Harvey, and inspiring this week's pun!
Next we moved along to the bridge over to the common which is always a bit of a hot spot for rubbish. Several bags down we continued our jog through to the station, ending up at the back common having collected loads of rubbish and leaving Chiswick looking that much cleaner. Great job, pickers!
To finish off the night we ended with a total body work out which focused on three main areas - arms, legs and core. There was some excellent form on display, with perfect planks, terrific tricep dips and momentous mountain climbers!
Next week we're back at Cultivate and there is also a lovely opportunity to help out at Osterley Junior parkrun next Sunday. Happy Goodgyming one and all!
