We dig gardening
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Sheffield.
- Saturday, 18th of August 2018
Rachel and I went to help Mr C with his beautiful garden. Caring for his wife meant he hasn't been able to do as much with the plants as he would like. We were called in to hack back 2 years a growth from a couple of beds. We chopped it all down to the ground ready to be turned int compost and freed up the bed of African Iris which have been there for 50 years by getting rid of a rather pretty invasive pink flower. The before and after photos show us leaving the garden looking a lot less pretty but Mr C assured us we did as he asked and it was a big help
