Watt a mission!
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Newham.
- Saturday, 18th of January 2020
Today Yangki took some time away from his 6-week old son to meet me in Newham for a mission.
Miss P had hurt her arm and was unable to open the door so after she dropped the keys out of a window we negotiated the locks and let ourselves in.
Miss P had a blown lightbulb in the kitchen that had tripped the fuse and she had been relying on lamps. Armed with a set of steps Yangki discovered that the old lightbulb base was still in the fitting. After a bit of a fiddle he carefully removed this and replaced it with the new lightbulb. We reset the tripped switch in the fuse box and light was restored to Miss P’s home. Whilst I re-hooked some curtains in the bedroom Yangki did a quick sweep of the kitchen floor to make sure none of the old light bulb was left behind.
We were finished relatively quickly, said our good-byes and Yangki set off to hopefully return home to a still-sleeping baby.
