Water relief
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Lewisham.

Ms F had a simple list for Aldi and kindly let me use her shopping trolley to collect it (I'm rather keen on them nowadays). So I trundled round the corner and started filling a basket with her requests. I quickly gathered a full basket and had all the items except the 2 x packs of 4 bottles of water. At this point I realised it was going to be physically impossible to carry the basket, move the trolley and collect the water. So, keeping my fingers crossed I left the basket unattended in the bread aisle and walked with the trolley to the water aisle. I picked up the water and then gently kicked the trolley down to the bottom of the aisle. Realising only one till was open and mindful of the crowds, I carried the water to the queue and laid it to hold my place. Then I dashed from aisle to aisle collecting the trolley and basket (both safely where I'd left them) and returned to the queue, to find the other customers kindly respecting my placeholder water and waiting to let me go first. What kind people Aldi shoppers are. And with that, I scanned the shopping with relief and returned it to a grateful Ms F.

Excellent multi-tasking, those Aldi queues are challenging enough as it is!
