Visiting the baa baas...
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.
- Friday, 7th of August 2020
Ms J had ventured out of her flat last week to have her hair done..."by a man!" she exclaimed, "never had that done before"...and so it is that lockdown (or what remains of it in these strange times) continues to provide us all with new and unusual experiences. I naturally complimented Ms J on her new look and she couldn't say thank you enough...if only all Friday mornings could be like this.
The now familiar four lamb chops were back at the top of her list, but she'd thrown the tomato sauce curveball back into the mix as from shops past I remembered it must be in the glass bottle and "not the nasty plastic" (success, thank you Waitrose), and her favourite Porridge (empty wrapper included) was on special offer (2 for £4) so I took the plunge and bought two to get her the savings.
Back at her door, she was pleased with the extra porridge and delighted the ketchup was in a glass bottle - "Top of the Class" she declared once again with a big smile. Thank ewe Ms J it made my day.
