Visited a berry called Logan and chatted like Wogan!
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Kingston upon Thames.
- Friday, 6th of August 2021
It was a blustery morn, but I was up at dawn
I dodged the rain, to meet lovely Mrs S...her garden my aim
She said she had her jab, I said me too...and this was fab
She asked me to weed and cut around a berry called Logan
And later we chatted over tea and a biscuit, like the late Terry Wogan
We talked of sad times of late and childhood memories that made us both laugh...of which we both could relate
Mrs S put a huge grin on my face, just by our natter...in her place
And although the weather was cloudy and grey, I think both our world's were made brighter...by meeting today!
