Vaccs to the Future
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in York.
- Saturday, 13th of February 2021
This morning I used a long run to help out by delivering some bits to people who are currently at home with Covid.
After my first pair of drop offs, I headed a bit further to collect an oximeter pack for Mr A. This involved a few firsts for me - my first half marathon distance since my move, my first farm run through in York, and my first level crossings (where I stopped, looked and listened) as well. Not terribly exciting, but I have a low threshold for excitement on a long run!
I eventually got to the surgery, which is doubling as a vaccination centre (making it pretty busy- and exciting), and collected the goods. Shortly after I had them dropped off with Mr A and was soon scampering back home. Mission accomplished!

Love a mission report with sheep pics Dom. Great delivery service!
Great job Dom, had no idea you were relocating to York All the best hope the air is fresher up there!!
Yep - it's been a gradual transition from Croydon, Lorraine! Forest Hill in 2017, Camden a year ago, now a bigger hop to York. Enjoying the fresh air and nature, but looking forward to visiting Croydon once everything has calmed down a bit.
