Use the forks, Luke

44? No, there were 45 of us. Those pesky not-signer-inners.
After a headcount that took 25 minutes we set off in four groups over to St. Luke's for a task that "would be good for about 12-15 people"...
The job was de-weeding, turning over a 15-metre strip of soil, then laying down some topsoil in preparation for planting a "native-tree wildlife friendly double hedgerow" (wha?) in the community garden.
We split into three groups, so that 15 could work at a time. While not working groups got involved in a mix of aerobic exercises, strength exercises and pair running.
Then it was back to base for some of Alix's delicious (and sophisticated) cornflake cakes. They were delicious and impressively there were enough to feed everybody.
Debate: Does pretzel and sausage (with a bit of mustard) make a decent breakfast? Marie, who was inspiration for the topic thinks so, and so do the majority of others. In fact, we only noted three people who didn't fancy it.
Homemade pretzels next week anybody?
Lovely,
Simon
P.S. tip o' the GoodGym cap to Patrick (for a change) for pun report title.
