Up (the hill) bright and early
10 GoodGymers made their way 3.2km to help the Luxmore Garden in Lewisham.

It was an early start on Monday to make sure we arrived at Luxmore Gardens with plenty of time to make the most of the light before darkness arrived and to make sure we were out of the park way before there was a risk of us getting locked in.
First up was a game of true or false that involved running, squats, star jumps and lots of laughing (mainly from me, I couldn't believe I'd never thought of it before).
We set off up to Luxmore Gardens, it's mostly uphill on the way there but we get to enjoy the downhill on the way back. There was plenty of weeding for us to get stuck into and even a picnic bench to be moved. Last week a wooden boat and this week a picnic bench, who knows what we'll be moving next week!
Slowly but surely head torches made an appearance and even the big lights came out! That signalled it was time to move the last of the weeds and leaves over to the compost pile and regroup for our group photo.
Lighting set and group photo done, we made our way back to Glass Mill for a quick cool down. Next week we're off to St Mary's Church, maybe there'll be more ivy clearing from the tombs!
It was lovely to have some new faces on Monday and hopefully you enjoyed your first good deeding and we'll see you at future group runs!
