Up the apples and pears to get some shopping for Ms R!
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Ealing.
- Wednesday, 15th of April 2020
I arrived at Ms R's flat to find she was more than prepared! We exchanged chat over the intercom and when I entered I found a detailed shopping list with a disinfectant wipe through the letterbox. It was great to see Ms R taking such precaution! She has been advised to stay indoors for 3 months by the NHS and govt guidelines.
It was closing hour at the store, so I queued for 20 minutes, crossed fingers that they had everything she needed.
Someone was looking down on us as the store seemed stocked with fresh vegetables and the exact milk, bread and yoghurt items that Ms R was after!
£24 later I was back with the shopping. Take a look at the photos for the best shopping list you may have ever seen! Ms R was super grateful so off I trotted, with a grin on my face to make the 1.5 mile journey home for the night, passing beautiful messages of goodwill and a gloriously decorated bus stop showcasing quarantine pictures from local families xx
