1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.

Task 1 of today’s two-parter was to pick up some groceries for Ms D, who is unable to get out herself as she is shielding due to a health condition. Ms D and I had done this before and we greeted each other on the phone as old friends when I rang her to pick up the brief: collecting a bag of veg and various other items from Planet Organic in Torrington Place.
Ms D was a little apprehensive that the bag might be rather heavy - I assured her I’d be fine and would be glad of the exercise, which was true! On arrival at the store the bag was ready and waiting with my name written on it - which the shop assistant and I established after a comedy interchange of standing and speaking loudly and incoherently at each other from a distance - communicating in a mask is tough!
Once I’d picked up the goods, it was a short walk down to Ms D’s to drop them off outside her flat. We wished each other well through the door and I set off at a brisk jog to task number two...
