Turning the Tables
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in York.
- Sunday, 14th of February 2021
Debs and I headed all the way up to Strensall for our second mission for Mr J.
This time, we were getting all the dining room furniture out of the garage and back where it belonged, as Mr J no longer needed his hospital bed in their dining room.
With a bit of table shifting, it didn't take us long to get the three bits of furniture and two boxes back inside. We got the dining table and chairs back in the middle of the room, then it was a case of finding where the two drawers for dresser had disappeared to. Turns out they were stashed in the teeny under stairs cupboard. Easy for a small Egg to retrieve.
It'll be so nice to eat together at the dining table again!
We left the very happy couple excited to eat their first meal together just in time for Valentine's Day.
