This month we returned to the Old Alleynian rugby club, as part of their Green team volunteering. This time our task was to clear the ground (which was the old tennis courts) and seed them with new grass. This turned out to be a surprisingly tough task, as we discovered a tangle of bramble roots that was just under the surface of the soil. But we did what we could, and still managed to seed the grass before the end of the session. Afterwards, we were even treated to a short "Intro to Rugby" from one of the coaches. We headed home, happy-tired, from a great workout!
