I had the honour of joining Kat on Saturday for her 100th GG good deed! 🥳 Here’s where it began, 100 deeds ago in Cold Fall Woods in Barnet. 👇 https://www.goodgym.org/reports/wood-you-believe-it-it-s-gonna-be-may

The task this time was to convey goods from retailers making donations of food, back to Life After Hummus’ at Euston Square, where they sort the stuff and then redistribute it. There were other GG volunteers, as well as plenty of others coming and going, so it seemed like there’s a lot to help-out with at the moment.

Our trolley was going to Aldi in Camden Town, so we took the short trip there past the excitement of HS2 through the back streets of Somers Town.

In the stock room of Aldi we filled the trolley with bottled water and breakfast cereal, then filled a whole laundry bag with cereal bars, crisps and crackers and put that on top. There was still some stuff left which someone will collect on Sunday.

When we returned the people coordinating at Life After Hummus seemed really pleased with the quantity of stuff they’d been donated, so nice work Aldi. 👏

According to the Standard, the weather in London was hotter than Morocco, so it was a pleasure to be out and about and pass through Regent’s Park and the backstreets of N London joining Kat as her GoodGym deeds passed into triple digits. 🌞
