Tree-mendous Celtic History
1 GoodGymer made their way to help their local community in Luton.
- Thursday, 15th of February 2024
- Led by Laura Cheek
Goodgym joined with Groundworks to support an educational charity with conservation of its outdoor prehistory learning space for children. Starting off with clearing brambles and other weeds from a planned new learning area, then tree management to ensure only healthy and safe (for children) trees remained. After a short lunch break and a brief lesson on Celtic history, it was back to work looking for dangerous dead trunks in the forest area, felling and preparing wood and kindling bundles for use in the education sessions.
