Tree butchery
2 GoodGymers made their way to help the St Matthew's Church in Derby.

You could hardly call what Ashley, Pete and David did during the task as tree surgery, more like tree butchery. A large section of tree had fallen down over weekend and our task was to cut it down to manageable pieces for removal. We set about it using a variety of tools from loppers, saws, secateurs, hands, feet, brute force and harsh language. After a good 90 minutes we managed to reduce the tree into 3 piles whilst having a great time chatting about hiking and upcoming holidays.
