Too cold? You gotta be LIDLing!
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Ealing.

If someone tells me that it was too cold to go outside today, I'm going to reply they probably have no idea how to do a proper warmup! Today's shopping mission for Mrs U, was about 9 miles in total, running and walking. There were parts I was not able to jog - it might have something to do with a big rucksack on my back and a small one on my front. Both provided an excellent shield from the wind though! Because Mrs U is a devoted Lidl customer, I knew I will be carrying a modest amount of weight for the price. You cannot get cold with half of the Lidl vegetable section working your upper traps, my friend! Getting everything from Lidl was surprisingly easy this time. It was the rice flour that turned out to be the tricky part. As Mrs U was not keen to try out the brown rice flour I found at Sainsbury's, I checked out a shop with ethnic products she suggested. It was spot on and I got Mrs U a 1.5 kg bag of flour so it will last her for longer. The only thing I messed up was the bread. Maybe if the mission was earlier during the day I would get the exact bread she ordered. It was already sold out in the afternoon... If you don't believe I felt warm all the time, getting to the mission spot and doing the shopping, I can assure you Mrs U's welcome was warm when I got back. She was very grateful for the help and asked if I train my muscles at the gym (this lady knows how to compliment, I'm telling you!). Seeing the familiar cat resident warmed my heart too. He or she was didn't seem equally delighted to see me but I'd probably feel the same if I was a feline! On my way back I welcomed the refreshing breeze and drizzle and tried not to be blown away by the wind. I highly recommend this fantastic British weather for your workouts!
