Tilling under the Tempest
29 GoodGymers made their way 7.0km to help their local community in Tower Hamlets.

- Led by Laura Williams
On Monday night, with threatening clouds looming overhead, 30 eager GoodGymers (including lots of new GoodGymers!) met for their weekly dose of doing good and getting fit.
Tom (who was on his bike due to injuries) set the pace for the gentle but eventful jog down to Stepney city farm, where the group split into teams for weeding, levelling paths and compost duties.
Undeterred by the rain, we worked until the jobs were complete - of course making time to say hello (and then goodbye) to the animals.
Plans for intervals on our return journey were adapted due to the relentless downpour, and we headed back along the canal at a gentle pace with short 30 second bursts of sprints - mainly through puddles.
At around 8.30pm, 30 very soggy goodgymers regrouped at the arch gallery. Everyone was looking forward to a hot shower and a cuppa, but content in the knowledge that their friends at the farm had a happy home.
