3 of Luton Goodgyms elite, headed out this morning on a 10 mile(ish) circuit of the South Bedfordshire countryside. We had drizzly rain, sunshine and some quite scary thunder and lightning 🌩 . We set off from Sundon Park around 8am(ish) and headed towards Sundon village, then through the fields and small wood to Streatley. there we followed the Icknield Way bridleway that took us out onto the A6. A little way down the road we crossed over and picked up the public foot paths through the fields and up towards Galley Hill, we had a close call as we had to hot foot it across the golf course and a ball dropped just off the fairway, near to where we were taking a quick break. The team then headed towards Galley Hill and then onto Warden Hill. We then went down the hill along the golf course and followed the paths back to Sundon Park. The route took us just underv4 hours and we experienced mixed weather and mixed terrain. It definitely blew out the cobwebs. Great effort team 👏
