Three Bags Full
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.
- Monday, 20th of July 2020
I got to join Sarah today for her first GG Mission in someone's home, doing some trimming in the garden for Ms. V in Hampstead.
Their own garden is paved, but from all 3 sides various types of growing things were leaning in from the neighbours - vines, buddleia and nice white roses. The leaves and petals were falling in, so we were to trim it back as far as the fence. A step ladder, kick steps, some secateurs and scissors were all we needed as the branches were rather young and soft.
The one thing we left intact were the chillis Ms. V's was growing in pots.
With three bags full of twigs and leaves, we loaded them into the car for Ms. V so that they could be taken to the recycling centre at Kentish Town.
