Thirsty work

Two GoodGym oldies got together for watering and all the chat
After a week of weird blustery and rainy weather, we were blessed with a fine evening to top up the planters on Brockley Station platform.
I whizzed over on my bike to meet Kyle from Energy Garden and we chatted about anything and everything while we waited for GoodGym Brent’s very own Pritesh.
Brockley Station is lucky to have lots of people who care about its appearance, with one group looking after the impressive approach, the staff tending to planters around the exit and the big, solid planters along the platform being overseen by Energy Garden.
I got myself a good workout toing and froing to the tap, up and down the steps, getting quite a steam-up under my mask.
It’s thirsty work, this watering, so we may have wandered over to Parlez for a socially distanced drink and catch-up, well, it’s been a long time since Pritesh and I have ticked off a good deed together.
This is now a weekly task, but gets snapped up quickly. Keep an eye out too, for some more tasks here and at other stations along the line.
