third time lucky
1 GoodGymer made their way to help the Lea Bridges Junior parkrun in Norwich.
- Sunday, 23rd of February 2020
- Led by Norwich runner
Lea Bridges parkrun #28 finally took place after two Sunday's of unsafe conditions. today was dry but windy, plenty of volunteers also turn out but two hardy volunteers tackled the worst task, checking the course for 💩 with two weeks away, oh dear there was lots 🙈 also clearing debris out of the way, well done you two. 14 children (including 3 first timers to this junior parkrun) turned out to blow their way round the 2K course. one young runner achieved their 10 run wristband, and after the run briefing and warm up we were off. well done everyone see you next week. A reminder in photo two that although we hope to never use them , parkrun is always prepared for any emergency, first aid kit and defibrillator essential, and of course 💩 bags/surgical gloves 😂
