There are some shrubs under there somewhere......

Mrs Q's garden has got into a bit of a state after she had an extended stay in hospital, and it is obviously causing her distress. The borders have been over-run by grasses, and it was obvious that I could not tackle it all in the time available. We decided that I should concentrate on clearing the grasses around the shrubs in the border which were hidden from view. 90 minutes and 4 bin bags-full later, the main shrubs had been cleared of the choking grasses, and it looked much better. Mrs Q was very grateful for my efforts. Hopefully a return visit can be made to finish the job, as it would make her much happier
