Five goodgymers ( Caprice, Daryl, Eleanor, Ross and Janet) met for a short run to the carehome for our monthly visit and were joined there by Keith. We arrived hot and sweaty and ready for a summer-themed quiz, written by Caprice this time. Regular resident quizzers Vicky, Jess, Phyllis and Joyce were joined by Daryl, Janet and Keith to make 'The Hot and Sweaty Brainiacs', while Ross and Eleanor joined regular quizzers Janet, Sandra and Beryl, as well as first-timers Linda and David as the aptly named 'The Winners'. After a very tricky music round, all were glad to face twenty questions of trivia. The teams were well matched with their knowledge of UK beach resorts, but The Winners took it all with their knowledge of the Dogstar. The final round on summer animals also sorted The Winners from The Brainiacs, with a little help from crocodiles, hedgehogs and three-legged crows. We look forward to returning in September.

I love running (the muddier the better) and I love my goodgym gang. They rule. ❤️
