The pleasant evening sun made a welcome contrast from the last time we litter picked this area in torrential rain, this time six goodgymmers (with a later Phil arrival) got to work following the 10k many of the group completed at the weekend.
A bout of covid kept usual run leader Tav at home, so Louise helpfully picked up the equipment and made sense of Tav's 'sausage' drawing to give us a trail. The usual medley of cigarettes, masks, cans, sweet wrappers and our particular select finds; a fluffy pillow in the bushes and a burner phone stashed in some weeds.
Good spirits as always, some chat about members' 10k results and upcoming runs, nice to be tackling these litter picks without head torches at last. Tuesdays have been an easy switch and bringing out lots of members, hopefully group runs returning soon..
