Goodgym Sheffield came out on a bright Monday evening to help Sustrans Super Simon tidy up a neglected path heading up behind Victoria Quays.
We started off with a pre-run warm up consisting of arm circles, leg swings, knee hugs, butt kicks and side lunges. All limbered up we ran the short journey from the Showroom to the entrance to Victoria Quays, where Simon briefed us on the task in hand.
We set to work cutting back the surprisingly spiky foliage back to wall, scraping growth from the path, and cleaning up litter.
After bagging up a significant amount of choppings we headed to South Street Park for 3 x shuttle runs up the cobble hill path, then onto the amphitheatre for 3 sets of press-ups followed by a stretch off.
