The one with Wayne's wonky lamp
9 GoodGymers made their way 2.6km to help their local community in Woking.

9 GoodGymers ran to one of our favourite venues to help out, Woking lighthouse. After meeting at the Leisure centre we split into two groups to run the longway out of the park to the Lighthouse, avoiding a family of rats hanging out on the path.
We are now expert operators at sweeping, vacuuming and mopping the food bank but Alison had extra tasks for us. Kirsty and Anne took charge of breaking down cardboard boxes for recycling. Becky and Adam cleaned the floor of the food bank after Kirsty did a fantastic job of sweeping the shelves. Katie did a heroic job of vacuuming the whole of the ground floor. But a new a challenging task was putting together 2 lamps. It felt like a corporate team building activity and saw Lauren's final masterpiece significantly straighter than Wayne's thanks to the help of Jessica and Holly.
Big welcome to our newest members Jessica and Lauren.
Well done to Adam for his long run and to Wayne for getting back into running after injury.
