The Good, The Bad and The Onken
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Ealing.
- Saturday, 30th of July 2022
It was a hot, dusty Saturday afternoon when I showed up at Ms N's door. I'd been running for 30 minutes already and once I collected her shopping list, there was still a long circuit ahead of me.
I hit the track out to Wild West Ealing and on the way out, I caught scent of an outlaw I'd been looking to jail. I didn't catch sight of them when I arrived in Wild West Ealing, so I went about my business, buying groceries for Ms N including the new Onken yogurt she'd requested.
Once I had paid for the provisions in Sainsburys, I went outside to pack away the receipts and change. While I did this, the outlaw snuck up behind me and stole all the food! I was desperate to get Ms N's groceries back, so I trailed them back towards South Ealing but they were always just out of reach of my lasso.
Eventually I walked wearily into the Coop to get Ms N some Magnums and that's when inspiration hit, now that I was armed with a magnum, I could wound the fugitive and retrieve Ms N's food. We each took cover in bus shelters on opposite sides of the street, taking pot shots at each other. Eventually I clipped the bandit and, realising they couldn't take Ms N's groceries with them, they fled.
All that was left for me to do was to deliver the groceries for Ms N. The town was again free from this desperado and the townsfolk could live their lives in relative safety.
