The birds and the bees or apples and pears

Myself and Neil met at Mr A's to help with his garden. We were greeted by Mr A and his children who were interested in what we were doing and told us of their love for their willow tree as they demonstrated by swinging on it's leafy branches.

The garden was big with a lot of character and children's play things but under attack from the over grown grass and falling apples. There were a lot of fruit trees and vines (apples, grapes, pears and black berries) in abundance, in the center of the garden was this tall strapping willow tree.

Mr A instructed us on what he would like us to do while we were there. Instructions given, tools in hand we set about working. The willow tree was given a (Barnett) barnet but we ensured there were a couple of branches left uncut so the children had their swings (they will be Berry Happy).

Neil started mowing as a novice but by the time he completed mowing the largest part of the garden he was a pro, he was able to provide me with an in dept guide on how the mower worked by the time I came to have a go.

An hour and a half later we had completed the task in the back garden and switched our attention to the front garden. Fifteen minutes later mission completed.
