The Artful Plogger
19 GoodGymers made their way 6km to help their local community in Sheffield.

18 runners plogged 6k, Strava-segmented, climbed, hunted down Sheffield street art and finished with a BBQ.
The ardent 18 assembled at the Showroom, ready for some Friday night fun - a linear plog to a Winter BBQ, with some street art and Strava segments thrown in along the way.
Eschewing the idea of a gentle warm up, it was straight into Strava mode and up the steep slope of Howard Street. Barely having time to catch their breath the runners were off westward, pausing briefly along the way to admire new additions to the Sheffield Street art scene - a Christmas tree, a New Year's Eve mural and umbrellas. Sketcher Sam was officially appointed to the role of GG Sheffield Art Critic after informing the group "that's new" at a work that he had been told only moments before ... was new.
Plogging along the way got serious when we reached the General Cemetery. After a good tidy up of the area Heroic Helen and Super Sarah showed further athletic prowess by scaling the nearby climbing bolder.
It was then into the cemetery - which was the principal cemetery in Victorian Sheffield, with over 87,000 burials. After a quick dynamic risk assessment (darkness, possibility of zombies etc.) the group Strava sprinted into the pitch black night and then jogged to the magnificent Samuel Worth Chapel for a quick group photo.
Emerging safe and sound from the cemetery they plogged on down Sharrow Vale Road with a bit more street art thrown in along the way.
A final Strava segment up a hill - with instructions to keep going until they got to a named side road which didn't exist! - kept them keen before a final plog down Eccy Road.
A roaring fire and a Winter BBQ was their reward - special shout out to Dynamic Daiana for the arancini, to those who DJ'd (choosing artists from Frankie Goes To Hollywood to Frank Sinatra) and to Kim for teaching us some interesting Italian phrases that even Daiana hadn't heard before ...
