That was flippin' easy!
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Hounslow.
- Saturday, 12th of October 2024
After their morning community missions in Acton and Ealing, Sevan and Kash ran to Isleworth to help Mr R, who needed help with flipping his mattress to prevent him from sinking into one part of the bed. Mr R had a hernia and was unable to do it himself.
Mr R heard about GoodGym from his primary care provider and was ready to welcome his first GoodGymers this Saturday afternoon. He even offered the volunteers water and tea. Sevan and Kash didn't need refreshments after having a late lunch recently, but Kash asked for a favour to use a bathroom to take off her base layer because, unsurprisingly to Sevan, she said she "was baking in it".
The change of the outfit took as much time as the change of the mattress position. Following a brief chat with Mr R, 7 minutes after starting the task, Sevan and Kash were on their way to their final mission of the day in Cranford.
