Talking about intonation.
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.

Today's post shop conversation with Mr T focused on regional accents and intonation, and (as he had observed much to his annoyance) the recent habit of "young people on tv" ending their sentences with a rising pitch, something that he is very clearly not a fan of (apparently it's called "uptalk" - every day still remains a school day, especially on GG shopping missions).
After the two most recent previous visits post the Lidl refurb, I wasn't too confident on how long/chaotic the queuing area would be, but I discovered (to their credit) there are now more tills that take cash, and by luck I jumped onto one as soon as I got to the checkout - even Mr T commented on how quick today's shop had been - it's not a race but it was definitely a new PB...
