Taking the machine for a spin
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Brent.
- Sunday, 8th of November 2020
A bit of heavy lifting was required to remove a defunct washing machine and a fridge from a Kilburn flat. Hilary cycled 19km and John ran 6km to create more room for resident Miss M, who told us many tales about her flat and her former life as a chef, and showed us two books she possessed which were probably a century old. We eventually got down to the task, and were thankful that the lift was not only big enough to accomodate large white goods, but was actually working. We were assisted by a strange apparition ...the mysterious ghostly floating jacket! (see picture).
