Taking mattress into our own hands
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Westminster.
- Friday, 1st of May 2020
Friday started for Lenka and I with a casual run to Westminster to help move a double bed to another room to make way for a hospital bed.
It was bit of a process. We first had to call the Warden to get code to access the flat and we had a password for the site manager to allow us entry to the building. This was done fairy quickly and without issues.
Once inside we got stuck in, making use of the space we had, little rearranging , take the bed apart, move it and clear the bedroom floor.
Thankfully it was easier than anticipated and felt it was a success. Plus Lenka got to wear her unicorn face mask that I got for her birthday last week so that was a bonus.
