Take medicine and then repeat...
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.
- Friday, 3rd of July 2020
Life on Camden High Street has returned to normal, judging by the number of people out and about - and so it was to Boots to pick up Mr T's medicine. The pharmacist handed over one bag, and when I mentioned the instructions indicated two prescriptions, she said that the bag contained two items...
On the bike through the Friday afternoon traffic up towards Kentish Town to do the drop off - Mr T came to the door and was surprised to see only one bag - he opened it and was certain there should have been some other items. He tried to call Boots, but couldn't get through, so seemingly having only done half a job, I said I'd be fine to go back and see if they could provide the missing items.
Soon enough I was back in front of the perspex explaining the situation to a different pharmacist, who then called Mr T to confirm what he thought was missing. All resolved and I was soon back on the bike, and knocking once again on a very grateful Mr T's door - not the most efficient delivery I've done in the past few weeks, but I can navigate between the Boots on Camden High St and the edge of Kentish Town better than any deliveroo rider now...
