Swept up in the job!
3 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Sheffield.
- Sunday, 5th of November 2017
A group of three runners gathered at Mrs H's house to try and rest the garden before the winter.
Thanks to some recent strong northern winds the garden was strewn with leaves which were a bit of a hazard but, more importantly, were driving Mrs H crazy. As an avid gardener who isn't able to get into the garden much anymore, Mrs H likes her garden spick and span and we went about it the best way we knew how. With brooms, secateurs and copious garden refuse sacks!
After two hours of careful work (and some tea and biscuits) we left with a job well done knowing the paths would be a little safer for Mrs H and her walking frame.
