Sweaty Shopping for Ms S
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.
- Wednesday, 22nd of April 2020
On another scorcher of a sunny day in North London I was glad to be getting out the flat and back on the pavements. Headed down to Regent's Canal again and then through all the beautiful painted houses of Primrose Hill. Ms had her list and reusable shopping bags at the ready for me to head to Chalk Farm Morrisons. There was an incredibly long queue down the side and round the back of the store, but it moved pretty quick and most people were in high spirits. I've never been to this Morrisons before, but I will definitely be going back. It is huge and has so much stuff!!! Once inside I was able to get everything she needed (even if so many aisles was a bit of a maze!). She was so grateful for her food and I was able to get an 8km sunny run in somewhere new. Really glad to be a part of GoodGym now more than ever. Furlough feels much more meaningful being able to help out my community.
