Swat up, dawg
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.
- Friday, 3rd of July 2020
Today I started off my day by running to Ms H's to help her with some IT issues.
After a recent visit by another GoodGym runner, she's feeling more confident with her devices, but had a few more things she wanted help with now she was more confident.
A healthcare professional had emailed her, and offered her an online appointment, but Ms H wasn't sure how this would work. We worked together, and I invited her to an example Zoom which she managed to join, and she was glad to be more confident on that front.
I talked her through a few other things - and explained that the reason she may have been missing some emails was due to the 'focused inbox' only showing her some of what she expected, and some ending up in her junk folder. I helped her mitigate these issues, and accidentally swatted a fly for which she was very grateful - they've been upsetting her a bit lately - then finished up the visit, then ran home.
I also saw a gorgeous cat on my way, photo above!
