Stumped
3 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Southwark.
- Monday, 10th of December 2018
Dan , Luci and Tim all met for the first time outside the front door of Mrs I. It was Luci's first mission and we were all ready to pull out a shrub from the garden! We met Mrs I's daughter who was very pleased to see us, gave us some tools and pointed to the shrub they wanted removed.
The shrub turned out to be a tree stump. 😮
Though our task now seemed slightly more impossible we didn't let it get us down. We got to work digging, chopping and clearing around the stump. Whilst we dug we chatted about opera singing , graphic design, animation and goodgym!
After half an hour we were all surprised to find we had actually managed to remove the stump.
We tidied up the garden , said good bye to Mrs I and her daughter who was very happy with the work we had done and even gave us some Christmas chocolate!

Amazing work, looks challenging but you really got to the root of the problem!
Well done on your first mission Luci! You must be re-leafed it went so well!
I feel all good inside! So nice to meet you Tim and Dan, and I look forward to meeting many other lovely people soon. Gosh, gardening plus running is a good way to keep warm in December!
