A welcome return to Manor Woods valley saw us helping to distribute buckets of gravel around the space to help with drainage and to sure up the foot paths
We began by carrying pairs of buckets up the hill to fill in a dip that has developed in front of a bench there. Hopefully it'll be possible to sit and take in the views without wet feet from now on.
We then repeated the exercise (working our arms for a change!) carrying more gravel along to build up a section of footpath undermined by the wet weather and popularity of the walk. Martin also pointed out the newly marked out 2.5k route if anyone is looking for a scenic training lap!
Finally we all enjoyed a sample of apple juice produced from the Manor Woods orchard - delicious and a nice reminder of our previous visits to the space to open it up for harvesting the fruit once more.
Really good to be back again
