3 GoodGymers made their way to help the London Borough of Redbridge in Redbridge.
- Sunday, 20th of March 2022
- Led by Redbridge runner
James managed to run all the way there but got confused by Julia's directions, the actual meeting place was near the garden centre, easy mistake to make luckily Sharon spotted James before he committed to his plan.
We met up with the brilliant Jan, who came well prepared: multiple litter picks and something to carry her rubbish in. Sharon borrowed one of the litter pickers and we were off.
Not getting too far Jan managed to find a bra that had been tossed, definitely a picture worthy moment.
There was quite a bit of litter tossed in the stream, but our litter picks weren't long enough or our footwear suitable enough to fetch it ☹️.
We came along to where the brambles had been cut down and the real litter pick came in. Some of the litter looked like it had been there for a long time.
After an hour and a half we had 4 full sacks and 1 wheel guard to conclude our litter pick.
After goodgym called it a day, Jan later on continued litter picking in another park, well done Jan.
