Spring onions as far as the eye could see
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Ealing.
- Saturday, 19th of January 2019
Georgia and Larissa headed out of Ealing to help Mrs L tidy her garden.
After having a short chat with Mrs L and hearing all about her big family we got to work in the garden! Faced with overgrown grass, weeds and a huge amount of leafs we managed to make a big difference. Georgia was very excited to try out the lawn mower for the first time as you can see in the pictures! After raking the leafs we found there were a lot of spring onions, and after checking with Mrs L if she wanted us to clear them away she quickly replied “I’m not growing any onions” so we took that as permission to dig them up! We filled one large green bag and Mrs L was very happy with what we managed to do!
