Spring clean at Woking Food bank
Last night we headed to the Food bank to help clean up the floors. First of all we met at the leisure center - the weather was not at its best. This did not put off Adam, Katie, Anne, Alys, James and myself. Due to the under path being closed at Woking Railway station we had an extra long route into town. We had a tour of the crossings in Woking town, and spent time stood in the rain waiting for the green man!
Once at the lighthouse in Woking, Alys was waiting for us after her day in London. We got straight to work with the hoovers out and mops at the ready! I gave James the job of photographer and what a job he did.. he took the role very seriously! After our efforts we took got into our usual pose positions on the stairs for a group shot.
We decided instead of getting soaked in the rain that we would head of social drink to have a catch up with the weeks going ons.
Good luck
Good luck to James this weekend at the Weymouth Half Marathon.
Next week is based at Woking park to help resurface the path for the path run.
