10 Westminster GoodGymers ran 5k to help St Andrews Youth Club keep in top shape!

A lovely warm summer run this week through the heart of Central London! Taking in many of the sites as we made our way 2.5k to the wonderful St Andrews Youth Club.

One of the the most important local institutions for young people who provide amazing support, fun, teaching and maybe most importantly a vibrant safe place for 6-18 year olds.

Helping to keep the club thriving is key and getting all the mountains of equipment, tools, games, supplies in line is such a key company to allowing a great service to be provided. This week we dominated the sort out and tidy up of the art cupboard and the garage in 30 highly productive and invaluable minutes to St Andrews.

With the stores ship shape we zipped off with enough time to smash a high octane 12 minute body weight Circuit in St James Park. With the good deed complete, strength and conditioning quota met we just had the 2k run back to base to finish off the evening!!

Next week we are off to Little Venice Canal to help be a part of keeping our waterways are clean and clear as possible to enable a thriving ecosystem to continue to exist!! See you there
