Some EGG-CELLENT Litter Picking
9 GoodGymers made their way 5km to help their local community in Sheffield.

We had an eggs-tremely good turnout for this Easter Sunday mission; helping the Wildlife Trust and Sheffield Litter Pickers tidy up Newfield Woods ahead of the Cat Lane Canter next weekend!
Armed with a picker and a bag each, we quickly set to work. Though the initial woods were quite clean (which was good!), we soon found more than the usual crisp packets and beer bottles in the area closer to the road. Golf balls, tyres, wing mirrors, sun visors, mattresses, vent tubes - all were collected up in our rubbish bags. Annie even found a huge bit of chain-link fence and some barbed wire. No fitness session necessary after carting all that up the hill to the litter pile...
We spent about an hour and a half in the glorious Sunday sunshine before calling it a day. The area was definitely tidier for our efforts! Before we all headed our seperate ways, we were gifted a chocolate egg each by leader Tom! Egg-ceptional.
