Some attention to the fake forget-me-not
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Wandsworth.
- Saturday, 11th of May 2019
We braved the weather to find Mrs B's Garden a true a woodland. She has recently returned from hospital and the garden had gotten out of hand.
We weeded the shaded area first while her daughter searched for the keys to the shed. With the lawn mower freed from the shed, James got to work. The grass was so wet we could have easily producted silage. We pulled a lot of green alkanet that had taken over the whole garden.
It was clear that this had been a beautifully landscaped garden once up on a time. We found a great fatsia japonica and lots of gneum across the boarders.
On the way back we had to stop for a slice of cake as the weather was unpredictable.
