Sofa, so good!
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Liverpool.
- Saturday, 13th of February 2021
Mr W needed two sofas removing from his living room to make space for a bed to be installed. Enter Ruth and Jo on a freezing day, along with Caitlin, Mr W's case worker. After a bit of 'to me, to you' we managed to manoeuvre the sofas through the doorways and into the skip outside. There was also an old and very heavy freezer that needed removing from Mr W's kitchen to make space for a washing machine. Mr W has had more than his share of difficulties over the past 12 months, with multiple health problems and with the sad loss of his wife after over 40 years of marriage. We hope that our assistance will enable him to remain living more comfortably and safely in the home he shared with her.
