[Warning: the following contains expanded discussions on dish soap. TL;DR: I did a shopping task for Ms L]
Today, I used my lunchtime to complete a small shop for Ms L. Her current mobility means that she's unable to carry heavier items by herself.
The great thing about shopping tasks like these is that they reveal something about your own shopping habits. I find that I ask the most questions about the things that I know absolutely nothing about, followed by questions about the things I know probably too much about.
Today, most of my questions centred about what type of washing up liquid Ms L wanted me to pick up. Ms L asked for "any except the red one". I, too, have been previously burned by the cinnamon scented washing liquid, and knew exactly what to avoid.
Intel gathered, it took me fewer than 5 minutes to collect everything on the Ms L's list after I entered the store (to add to this dramatic work on dish soap, the red dish soap turned out to be cherry blossom. I don't personally have a problem with the scent of cherry blossom in exactly the same way that I loathe the scent of cinnamon dish soap, but I understand that the pollen count is currently very high and that cherry blossom is best avoided in case it feels like it's mocking your hayfever 👍🏻).
Feeling slightly smug about adding a speedy shop to my mission opus, I returned to Ms L's to drop off her shopping and her change before returning to work.

Great work on the dish soap conundrum!
