Even a snow storm and freezing temperatures couldn't stop Woking GoodGym members from completing a task.
The task tonight involved distributing leaflets for Woking Hospice and Sam Beare. The leaflets were to advertise and get people interested in helping raise money in either the Webridge 10km or the Surrey Half and take up one of their charity places.
We headed off to the Horsell area first before taking on Goldsworth Park - in total we managed 7.4km in the snow and distributed around 300 leaflets.
On the way round we heard about Wayne and his next event which takes place on Saturday. Wayne has been training extra hard and has been doing so well at his running training. Good luck in the Nuts Challenge on Saturday - keep warm. Although there’s one member who will be keeping warm this weekend and thats Holly. Holly will be taking part in a Spartan Super event this Saturday in Palma. Enjoy the sunshine and Good luck.
Well done to all Woking Goodgym members who braved it out tonight - make sure you stay safe and keep warm.
The beast from the East couldn’t stop us!!
